Home Remedies for Itchy Breasts | How to Remove Rashes Under Breasts

Itching can occur due to a number of reasons. An allergy or skin eczema is one of the most common causes. Sweat and insect bites can also cause itching. Pregnant women feel itchy during their second and third trimesters due to the severe hormonal changes taking place in their body. Itching may give temporary relief from the ailment but excessive scratching can irritate the skin, injure it and also cause scarring. Some simple home remedies can nip itching in the bud and give you relief from incessant scratching.

1. Baking soda.
Baking soda can come to your rescue in very severe cases of itching. Add 1 cup of baking soda to your warm bath or tub. Now soak in this warm bath for at least 20 minutes. Allow yourself to air dry. This will give you instantaneous relief from itching. You can also make a soft paste with water and baking soda and apply this paste on localized areas especially if the itching is restricted to these places only.

2. Oatmeal.
Oatmeal is very soft and soothing on the skin and gives immediate relief from itching. Take 2 cups of oatmeal and put it in your bath water. Now have a hot and soothing bath. Your itching will subside and you will also feel more relaxed.

3. Lemon juice.
Lemon juice when applied helps to soothe inflamed skin. This is because lemon has anti-inflammatory properties. Just rub the juice of a lemon on the affected area of the skin. You will find that the lemon juice burns but soon the burning will subside and your skin will feel itch free.

4. Basil tea.
Use an aromatic basil tea as a skin wash to help eliminate itching. For this, take ½ ounce of dried basil leaves and boil them in a pint of water. Cover the water to prevent the aroma from escaping. Once the tea has cooled, you can dip a washcloth in this tea and apply it to the affected areas of the skin. Basil has high amounts of eugenol, a compound that acts like a local anaesthetic and reduces pain and itching.

What is Psoriasis | Symptoms | Treatments | Causes | Pictures | Types
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder that is marked by patches of intensely itchy and flaky skin that doesn't go away with regular moisturizers the way most ordinary dry skin will. It can affect any part of the body, even the scalp and nails, and can be mild, moderate or severe. Health Mayo clinic

The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is a non-profit organization with a mission to drive efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected.Psoriasis – Mayo Clinic
Basic Symptoms
Skin itchiness and general discomfort are the two things people most commonly associate with the disease, and it often starts out as no more than brief rashes over certain parts of the body that look like little more than dry skin. As the pictures worsens, though, those dry patches tend to get increasingly red and to grow; ultimately, the surface of the skin will dry out and form rough scales that often have a blistered look.
Main Types
There are usually five recognized types of the disorder, each with its own intensity and symptom specifications. Plaque psoriasis causes red, silvery-white, scaly skin lesions, and this is the most common variety. The pictures can also come in pustular form, which causes blisters to erupt on the skin that can leak pus or other fluids. This variation is most common on the hands and feet.
Triggers and Causes
The pictures is caused by genes, and is usually recognized by those in the medical profession as an inherited genetic disorder. Not everyone who carries the genes for the disorder will necessarily suffer from it,
Climate and weather, cold and dry temperatures in particular, can trigger the disease in many people. Physical trauma can also be to blame. Psoriatic lesions often develop at the site of a skin injury, usually right where things are healing and the skin is trying to regenerate itself.
Most practitioners also think that stress and emotional health play a role in symptom suppression and flare-ups. People who are under a great deal of stress often see the pictures appear for the first time, or worsen if it is already present.
Treatment Options
There isn't usually any way to completely cure the pictures, insofar as it is not medically possible to re-code peoples' genetic predispositions. Certain medications and treatment regimens can help keep flare-ups suppressed, though, and can dramatically alter patients' quality of and enjoyment of life. Skincare experts usually start by looking for ways to reduce triggers. Medicated creams and ointments are commonly prescribed, and in some cases UV light therapy, also known as "phototherapy," can be useful, particularly for people who live in relatively dark and cold climates or who spend most of their days indoors away from natural sunlight.
